Finding an experienced window fashion designer

Finding an experienced window fashion designer is not always easy. Especially one that is not too “salsey.”

You have specific needs when it comes to covering your windows and doors. You know what those needs are and a good designer will get the facts first: they will listen to what you tell them. Or at least have a conversation with you. Maybe ask questions to drill down to what your “pain points” are. They won’t jump in to show you what they are comfortable selling (or what they will make the most profit from-yikes!) No one wants that!

I find I need to put on my “coach hat” first and really listen to what you are telling me your needs are. Then look at how your windows are made: can you easily access the window, what is your end goal? What are your expectations as far as budget? Have you seen something you like that you can show me a picture of? Do you have light control issues? Do you need something room darkening? Trust me, it all matters. And I like to take the time to find out what you need before I offer solutions. If you are feeling overwhelmed, that’s okay. I promise, it will be a painless process. And I’ll make sure it is really pretty, too.
